Document Why has my tier rating changed for the current financial year?

A performer's Net Pensionable Earnings / Net Pensionable Earnings Equivalent (NPE / NPEE) are recorded in Compass on an annual basis. On 31st March, the value for the previous year is rolled over into the next financial year (pro-rata if appropriate) unless the Provider or Commissioner (Area Team / Local Health Body) have already entered a different value. This shows on Compass as ‘AUTO_ROLLOVER’.

Location: Contract > Contract History Search > Performers NPE/NPEE

On 1st April, the performer's contribution tier is set using the latest declared earnings.

When the Annual Reconciliation Report (ARR) is complete, if the Provider or Commissioner has not amended the figures since 1st April, the declared NPE / NPEE replaces the estimated figure.

In this case the contribution tier will also be recalculated for the current, and previous, financial year. If the tier has changed, this will show on the following schedule.
If the Provider or Commissioner has amended the NPE / NPEE between 1st April and the end of ARR, the existing figures will not be overwritten and the tier will recalculate for the previous year only.
