Document Why wasn't I informed that I no longer qualify for a Tax Credit Exemption certificate?

Your NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate itself includes the following sentence:

"You should note the expiry date on your certificate. If you continue to meet the qualifying conditions you will be sent a new certificate. If your circumstances change and you no longer qualify for an NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate, you may wish to consider applying for help with health costs under the NHS Low Income Scheme."

If your NHS Tax Credit Exemption certificate is expiring / has expired, we'll automatically issue you a new one as long as Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has informed us that you still meet the qualifying criteria.
