Document Am I liable for the costs on my dental Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) if I did not receive my full course of treatment?

Yes, if you received part of your NHS dental treatment, such as an initial check up but didn't return to receive the remainder of the planned treatment; you're liable for the treatment received, unless you were exempt at the time.

Example: You attended an initial check up (band 1 treatment) and band 2 treatment is planned. If you don't attend your next appointment, you're still liable to pay the band 1 treatment charge as you received the check up.
