Document Online authentication process

The NHSBSA have introduced a new authentication process to improve security for applicants. All customers must now register their email address to validate their account and receive an activation link to log-in.

Please remember to check your Junk folder as the email might be treated as spam by some providers. You can either click on the link in the email or copy and paste it into a browser.

This link will be valid for 24 hours, during which time you will not be able to request another activation link. After 24 hours, if you have not successfully logged on to the system you can request a password reset to allow you to access your account.

The person registering must be at least 16 years of age. As the main applicant, you can apply for an EHIC for yourself, your partner and any dependent children you have. If you are under the age of 16, a parent or guardian will need to register as the main applicant. They must enter their details first and apply for any additional cards when prompted.

To register your email address and receive your activation link please see our website. You will be taken to the EHIC application and renewal page.
