
Appliance Contractor infrastructure payments, how are they calculated?
Infrastructure payments are calculated automatically using the following calculation table:
If a batch has been processed, an Appliance Contractor will receive a minimum payment of £150.00. The total amount paid will be calculated using each band in the above table.

Examples
- A contractor submits a batch of 7 prescription items. They will receive an infrastructure payment of £150.00
- A contractor submits a batch of 27,500 prescription items. They will receive and infrastructure payment of £77,200.40, calculated as follows:
- Prescriptions 1 – 10 = £ 150.00
- Prescriptions 11 – 1,000 (989 x £13.60) = £13,450.40
- Prescriptions 1,001 – 27,500 (26,500 x £2.40) = £63,600.00
- Prescriptions 1 – 10 = £ 150.00
