Document Prescription Item Report

English pharmacy and appliance contractors are now able to view every item that has been processed for their account. The Prescription Item Report is a spreadsheet which contains the price the NHSBSA have reimbursed along with the fees for each item. Only contractors who have registered for the Information Services Portal and have activated their account will have access to the report.

The data for the Prescription Item Report will be available on the payment date.

Large multiples including Boots and Lloyds pharmacies have also been given access to view the Prescription Item Report; however this is only available at head office level and not available to each branch.

The Prescription Item Report will help you to understand how your payment has been calculated and allow you to reconcile values on your Schedule of Payments with the payment information contained within the report.
