Document What happens if I have Protection based on Normal Pension Age (NPA) of 55 and I subsequently no longer qualify as a Special Class / MHO member?

If you no longer qualify as a Special Class/MHO member (for instance if you move to a role which does not attract MHO/Special Class) you will stay in the 1995 Section and not move to the 2015 Scheme. You will, however, lose the right to retire early and your NPA will revert to the standard NPA of age 60 within the 1995 Section.
