Document I was a member of a UK Public Service Pension Scheme on 1 April 2012 and I claimed these benefits, am I still eligible for Protection?

This would depend on when you started claiming your Previous Public Sector Pension.

If you were in receipt of your pension on the start date of your current role in the NHS then you will not be eligible for protection.

If you were not in receipt of your pension on the start date of your current role within the NHS then you will be eligible for protection as long as you were a member of a Qualifying Public Sector Pension Scheme in which you would have qualified for Protection (13 years 5 months away from normal pension retirement age) had you remained in that scheme.
