Document Who do I contact if I have received Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) for claiming free prescriptions?

This would be dependent on the date your letter was sent, we took over Prescription Exemption Checking Service (PECS) on 16 September 2014. Any checks carried out prior to this date would have been carried out by your local Area Team (AT) or NHS Protect.

If you have received a penalty charge letter dated prior to 16 September 2014, you will need to contact NHS Protect or your local AT using the contact details supplied on your letter.
