Document Same item prescribed in different colours and as separate items on the script; how many charges/fees will apply?

As long as it is the same ingredients and presentation it would be the one charge.

Example:

Dermacolor camouflage creme D100
Dermacolor camouflage creme D096
= 1 charge
= 2 fees

Even though references to colour for Lymphoedema garments were removed from the Drug Tariff in November 2012, if a prescription ask for the same specification but in different colours, only one charge will apply.

Example:

Mediven elegance class II, below knee, closed toe, size III beige
Mediven elegance class II, below knee, closed toe, size III black
= 1 charge
=2 fees
