Document How is the Life Assurance Lump Sum (LALS) calculated on my TRS Statement if I have both Officer and Practitioner posts?

When calculating the Life Assurance Lump Sum (LALS) figure where you have mixed officer and practitioner benefits these will be calculated separately and added together to display a single LALS figure.

However, the pay figures that have been used in the calculation will not be displayed as it is not possible to display two pay figures in this field.

The line on the statement about LALS Pay will not be displayed in this case.  If there is practitioner only benefits then the practitioner remuneration used to calculate the LALS will be displayed here.

Fields
Description:
LALS, lump sum, death gratuity, both officer and practitioner
