Document Which types of cancer entitle someone to a Medical exemption certificate?

A Medical exemption certificate can be issued to anyone undergoing treatment for:
  • cancer (this is not broken down into individual types)
  • the effects of cancer
  • the effects of current or previous cancer treatment
It's the matter for the GP's clinical judgement in deciding whether a patient falls within this category.
