Document What are the Childcare Reconciliation deadlines and what happens if I miss them?

At the end of each Childcare Reconciliation period, you must send us a Childcare Reconciliation (CCR) form and your student coversheet by the following deadlines or your Childcare Allowance/Bursary payments will be suspended and / or recovered from your future bursary:

2019/20 academic year;
 
Reconciliation Period *Deadline to submit CCR form to ensure
payments are not held
**Deadline to ensure all bursary payments going forward are not held or raised as an overpayment
02 September 2019 – 01 December 2019 31 December 2019 31 March 2020
02 December 2019 – 01 March 2020 31 March 2020 30 June 2020
02 March 2020 – 31 May 2020 30 June 2020 30 September 2020
01 June 2020 – 30 August 2020 30 September 2020 31 December 2020

Missing initial deadline – If your reconciliation from is not received by the initial deadline date * all your childcare payments going forward will be held until your form is received.

Missing secondary deadline – If your reconciliation form is not received by the secondary deadline date ** the whole of your monthly bursary payments going forward will be placed on hold until your form is received. If no future Bursary payments are available to hold, the childcare applicable for the reconciliation period will be raised as an overpayment and no further childcare allowance will be paid until a further application is received.

Please Note: - All childcare reconciliations are processed in strict date order. Any holds to payments will remain until a reconciliation form has been received. It can take up to 12 weeks from the date we receive your form(s) for the complete reconciliation to be processed.
