Document Why am I not being paid over 12 months in my final year?

This is due to the term dates supplied by your university as BOSS will pay the bursary for the length of time the term dates indicate that the academic year lasts for. Therefore if term dates supplied cover a period which is longer or shorter than 12 months, the bursary will be paid over the amount of months the term dates cover as opposed to 12.  You will be able to view the payment schedule on BOSS once your application is processed.

Examples

Your term dates start 15 September 2016 and end 14 July 2017. Your first payment will therefore be made in September 2016 and your last payment will be made in July 2017.

As your payments have been spread over a shorter period, the monthly amount payable may be slightly higher, however you will be receiving the full entitlement overall within the academic year.
