Document What date do I use to determine whether my NHS Tax Credit Exemption certificate covers my NHS prescription?

Your NHS Tax Credit Exemption certificate must be valid on the date you collect your NHS prescription to cover it. This is regardless of the date your prescription is prescribed or the date you initially take it to your pharmacy.

If you've paid for a prescription and obtained an FP57 receipt to claim a refund, your certificate must cover the date on the FP57.
