Document How long does it take for a payment of tuition fees to be made?

Once an invoice is received from your university, a payment will be made within 20 working days.

We are responsible for paying fees for medical and dental students only.

For other courses that started prior to 1 August 2017 the fees are paid in full via the relevant Local Education Training Board (LETB) directly to your university.

Following the Health Education Funding Reforms, students will need to apply via the Student Loan Company (SLC) for a tuition fee loan for courses starting 1 August 2017 onwards. If eligible SLC will pay the fees directly to your university. The exception to this is students on Dental Hygeine / Dental Therapy courses and students accepted on Postgraduate programmes if studying on a place commissioned by Health Education England who, as a transitional arrangement, will still have their fees paid by the LETB.
