Document If I opt out of the Scheme and start a new job with the same employer, will I have to opt out again?

Due to the introduction of Auto Enrolment from 1 March 2013 onwards it has become compulsory for all NHS employees not in the pension scheme to be automatically placed in our scheme or another suitable scheme every three years. You will need to opt out of the scheme each time an Auto Enrolment takes place if you wish to cease contributions. The exact date of your Auto Enrolment and the subsequent three year period will depend on your employers implementation date. Please speak to your NHS employer for more information.
