Document Can I opt out of paying pension contributions in one post but continue to pay them in another?

If you are classed as an Officer member and work in more than one part time post you can choose which of these posts you would like to pay pension contributions.
If you are classed as a Practitioner member you must pay pension contributions on all of your Practitioner related posts. If you choose to opt out of one post you must opt out of all other Practitioner posts too.
Locum posts are not included in this and are treated as standalone posts separate to Practitioner posts.
If opting out of Practitioner service, you may continue to contribute to the Scheme in respect of Officer and Locum posts.
