Document If I take Draw Down, how does this affect my Lifetime Allowance (LTA)?

A member may choose to draw down twice prior to retirement, therefore the LTA may be worked out on each subsequent draw down and again when the member finally retires.

The minimum pension payable, prior to any commutation, cannot be lower than 0.05% of the current standard lifetime allowance.

For more information, please see the Draw Down Factsheet on the NHS Pensions website.
