Document What is the effective date of a Pension Sharing Order?

When a court orders a Pension Sharing Order the relevant percentage of a members benefits are allocated to their former spouse or civil partner as of the effective date of the order provided by the court.

The effective date is the later of the date of the decree absolute/dissolution order or 28 days after the court order was made.
