Document What is the Self Assessment of Tiered Contributions form?

The Self Assessment of Tiered Contributions form is completed by Type 2 Practitioners after the end of each pension year to confirm their actual practitioner income for that year. This income was previously estimated by the GP Practice on the Estimate of NHS Pensionable Profits/Pay form.

Details of which income should be declared and where the form should be sent to can be found on the guidance notes attached to the form.

The deadline for form submission is the end of February the following year.

The Self Assessment of Tiered Contributions should be available to download a few months after the end of the pensions year via NHS Pensions website.
