Document What costs are involved in retiring someone through Redundancy or in the Interests of Efficiency (IOE)?

The cost of claiming your NHS Pension on Redundancy or Interests of Efficiency is referred to as the Capitalised Cost. This is representative of the cost to buy out the reduction that would ordinarily apply if you were to claim your pension on Actuarially Reduced Early Retirement (ARER). For cost factors, please see 'GAD - Redundancy Factors' tables on the NHS Pensions website.

You can find the relevant tables on the NHS Pensions website.
