Document Is the Initial Survivors Pension taxable?

Yes. This should be deducted using the spouses tax code rather than the late members. The employer should send a P45 for the member along with a P46 for the spouse to the local Tax office. No pension or National insurance contributions are taken from the Initial Survivors Pension.
