Document If I die, what will happen to my Additional Pension?

If you die and have been paying Additional Pension for more than 12 months, your pension will be credited with the full amount of Additional Pension being purchased. This will increase survivor benefits in line with any dependents cover purchased.

If you had been paying Additional Pension for less than 12 months or if it was less than 12 months since you made a lump sum purchase, then a full refund of these contributions will be given to the appropriate next of kin.
