Document How does my employer pay my Additional Pension lump sum payment to NHS Pensions?

Once your employer has received payment for your Additional Pension purchase - usually via a cheque - they should do the following.

  • Send an email to nhsbsa.apconfirmpayment@nhs.net to confirm that the Additional Pension payment has been received within one month of your AP3 acceptance letter being issued

  • Send the lump sum payment with their next, normal monthly contributions submission
