Document What salary figure is used for a Practitioner or non-GP provider member if abatement applies?

In the 1995 and 2008 Sections, the salary figure used in abatement calculations is your annual rate of pay at retirement. As your practitioner/non-GP provider pension benefits are based on your career earnings, your annual rate of pay at retirement is the annual average of your total uprated pensionable pay for your practitioner/non-GP provider membership.

In the 2015 Scheme, your annual rate of pay at retirement is the annual average of your total revalued pensionable earnings for your practitioner/non-GP provider membership.
