Document Can a GP Educator pension their educators income?

A GP Provider or salaried GP must pension their income for educating or training medical students in a practice or for arranging the training or education.

For GPs who are solely freelance GP Locums, it is not possible to pension this type of income. Additionally fees paid by a medical school or university directly to a GP are not classed as pensionable.
