Document Who is responsible for paying NHS dental refunds?

All NHS dental refunds for treatment received in England are paid by the NHS Dental Services in Eastbourne.

In the other UK countries, a refund is paid by the relevant Paying Authority which covers the area in which the dental practice is situated:
  • Wales - “NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, Contractor Services”
  • Scotland - “Practitioner Services - Dental”
  • Northern Ireland - “Central Services Agency (Belfast) – Dental”
