Document Dental Contract Reform - Temporary fillings to stabilise a patient may lead to the patient having greater problems in the future

The approach to stabilise oral health with interim restorations in a patient with high levels of dental disease is now commonly taught in dental schools and so foundation dentists will practice in this way, however, it's down to the dentist's own clinical judgement as to what treatment is provided for each patient.
