Document Dental Contract Reform - What happens if my contract under or over performs the minimum level of activity or capitation or activity?

Under or over-performance adjustments are processed as a financial value based on the practice’s overall performance, combining both activity and capitation levels.

Any carry-forward can be viewed in the ‘Capitation Remuneration Report’ (PTCPRM) on Compass.

Location: Compass >> Reporting >> View Published Reports

Prototype contracts cannot carry-forward activity or capitation figures.

  • Under Performance - Recovery for under performance of capitation or activity levels is capped at 10% of the Actual Annual Prototype Value (AAPV).
  • Over Performance - The decision about whether over-delivery at year-end is carried forward, or recovered as a monetary value, is a decision for your Local Area Team.
