Document Why are the Provider Assurance (PA) team reviewing previous year’s business rates?

When the Provider Assurance (PA) Team identify that Statement of Financial Entitlement (SFE) non-domestic rates (business rates) haven't been claimed appropriately, they have an obligation to provide NHS England with assurance that SFE business rates have been claimed accurately for the preceding 2 years.

To do this, the PA Team must request and review accounts for the preceding 2 financial years.
