Document How do I change the bank account my bursary is paid into?

If you have a MyFunding account

If you need to change the bank or building society account we pay your bursary into, login to your account and change the details using the option on the ‘Personal Details’ page.

We can't accept this information by telephone, email or fax.

 

You must complete the form yourself online.
 

You must make sure you change your details no later than the Friday before a payment is due to be paid to you to make sure it is paid into the new account.

 

If you update your bank details after the than the Friday before a payment is due to be paid to you, the payment will be made to your old account.
 

If you don’t have a MyFunding account

 

If you are a continuing student without a MyFunding account, you will need to download and print a Change of bank account form from our website.

 

After this form has been completed, please send it to us at:

We'll process the change within 20 working days of receiving the form.


After this has been processed, you'll receive a letter from us to confirm the account details have been changed.

 

If you're closing your old bank or building society account we suggest you don't close it until you receive this confirmation from us.
