Document Can I amend an employee's date of birth or National Insurance number on their pension record?

If your employee's date of birth and National Insurance number have not been previously verified, you can make changes to their personal details via the SD55G form found on Pensions Online. This form will allow you to change details for any members that are currently actively employed by you.

If your employee's date of birth and National Insurance number have previously been verified, you would not be able to amend these details using the SD55G. In these cases, you should email the Data Clease team, advising that the date of birth or National Insurance number held for a member are incorrect. Please also confirm that you have seen evidence of the correct date of birth or National Insurance number.

You can email the data team at the following address: nhsbsa.datamanagement@nhs.net

You can find a guide to complete the SD55G on the NHS Pensions website.
