Document If I have contributed to another scheme while paying into the NHS Pension Scheme, can I transfer the other pension into my NHS pension?

Yes, if your former occupational pension contributions were paid concurrently with your NHS pension contributions, a transfer may be accepted outside of the usual time limits. You should apply to make this transfer within 12 months of leaving your concurrent employment.

More information on transferring in can be found on the NHS Pensions website.
