Document Why are my nominated partners details missing from my pension award notice?

If you have nominated a partner to receive a pension in the event of your death, their details will not appear on your pension award notice.

Although an award letter will confirm the payments that can be made to a spouse or civil partner, your nominated partner must meet certain eligibility criteria at the time of your death to qualify for dependants benefits. Their details will therefore not be present on your award letter.
