Document If a member has taken partial retirement through Draw Down, what would happen if their pay reduction did not apply for at least 12 month?

For a member to be eligible for drawdown, they must have their pensionable pay reduced by 10% for at least 12 months so if they fail to meet this criteria, the pension would cease to be payable (abated in full).

Both the employer and the member must inform NHS Pensions of any increases to the level of pay or changes to the conditions of employment.
