Document Does a part time member have to pay pension contributions if they work overtime hours?

No, overtime is usually paid at a different rate to regular work and is not pensionable. However,if a part time member works extra hours paid at the same rate of pay as their regular work this can then be pensionable up to the standard whole time hours for their grade.
