Document Can I request a statement showing details of my pay or the amount of pension contributions I have paid?

Pension benefits from the Scheme are calculated using pensionable pay and years and days of membership for members of the 1995/2008 Section and using pensionable earnings for members of the 2015 Scheme. The contributions paid by you and your employer can be seen as the cost that enables entitlement to pension benefits. Providing you with a list of contributions or salary figures will therefore be of no relevance to pension benefit calculations. If you do require an estimate of pension benefits please see the related article "How can I get an estimate of my NHS pension benefits?" linked below.

If there is a specific reason why you require details of your historical pay and contributions instead of a valuation or estimated valuation of your pension benefits please make this request to us in writing. Our postal address is:

Please note: the above does not apply to practitioner staff. If you are a Practitioner, details of your historical pay figures are relevant to the calculation of your pension benefits, and we will be able to provide you with a statement of this information on request.
