Document If I don't have a bank account, can my pension be paid by cheque or postal order?

No, your pension can only be paid into a bank or building society account because it is the safest method of payment. To receive payment of your pension you will either need to open your own bank account or request your name is added to a joint account such as a friend or relatives existing account.
