Document If I become a Non GP Provider, can I still retain my Special Class status?

Yes, if you become a Non GP Provider you can retain your Special Class status providing that you continue to perform the same duties as you did in your Special Class post. For example, if you are a Practice Nurse with Special Class status who becomes a Non GP Provider but continues to perform the same tasks as you did when you were employed as a Practice Nurse then you may retain your Special Class status.
