Document What is included in an Annual Allowance pension saving statement?

A pension savings statement must include the following information:
  • Amount of Annual Allowance for the current tax year
     
  • The pension input amount in the current pension input period
     
  • Amount of the Annual Allowances for the previous three tax years
     
  • The pension input amounts in the previous three pension input periods
 
For tax year 2015/2016 the statement will include:
  • the pension input amount in the combined pension input period
     
  • the pension input amount in the pre-alignment mini tax year
     
  • the amount of Annual Allowance for the pre-alignment mini tax year
     
  • the pension input amount in the post-alignment mini tax year
     
  • the amount of Annual Allowance for the post-alignment mini tax year
     
The pension saving statement is not an Annual Benefit Statement and will not include an estimate of your NHS Pension Scheme benefits.
