Document If I have multiple pension arrangements, will they all count towards my Annual Allowance?

If you have been an active member of a registered pension scheme during a tax year then pension growth from all your pension schemes must be tested against the Annual Allowance each tax year.

This includes any defined benefit scheme pension benefits, defined contribution scheme pension benefits but not a State Pension.

In respect of your NHS pension benefits it includes pension savings you may hold with the 1995/2008 NHS Pension Scheme, the 2015 NHS Pension Scheme or the NHS Money Purchase AVC Scheme. If you have pension growth in another pension arrangement you will need to add this to your NHS pension benefit growth to assess whether you exceed the Annual Allowance.
