Document What happens if my Direct Debit (DD) payment fails?

If your DD instalment fails and you, or your bank, haven't instructed us otherwise, we'll automatically attempt to collect the payment again within 10 working days after the initial failed attempt.

If you don't wish for us to re-present this transaction, please cancel the DD instruction with your bank and contact us to make alternative arrangements.

If both transaction attempts fail, we'll write to you to inform you of the further action we require from you.

If we've been unable to collect a DD payment due to an instruction from your bank, we'll always write to you to organise an alternative payment arrangement.
