Document Which methods of travel are covered by my NHS Tax Credit Exemption certificate?

The cheapest available method of travel is usually refunded, this can include:
  • Mileage / petrol

  • Bus fare

  • Train fare
More expensive forms of travel such as taxi fare, aren't usually refunded.

The refund is at the hospital's discretion, you should contact the Cashiers' Department at the hospital you're attending / have attended to seek clarification of what they'll be willing to refund. We cannot get involved in this decision.
