Document Formula and discount tables to calculate payment for a dispensing practice

This is the basic formula we use to calculate your payments which is then subject to amendments by your Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

The VAT Allowance that is reimbursed will be at the current rate for that dispensing month, which is currently at 20%.

Please note we calculate the dispensing fees for both PMS and GMS practices however CCG's pay these to GMS practices only. If you are a PMS practice you will need to contact your local CCG as they may make an alternative payment.
